Important Note (available kits below): Over the course of production, Yanmar GM series engines have been assigned similar but distinct model numbers. These numbers can cause confusion among owners. The most confusing distinctions are related to the inclusion or absence of an E or F in the engine model number. The absence or inclusion of an F in the model number designates if the engine is fresh water cooled or not. The inclusion or absence of an E in the model number is related to if the engine is a Europen or Japanese model.

These small differences in model numbers can make a significant difference in which kit will work with your engine. Kits for use with European models include an E in the kit description. Kits for use with Japanese models do not include an E in the kit description.
