Universal Water Pumps - Determine the Pump You Have
Over the years many models of Universal engines have had different water pumps installed. It is possible that your boat and the boat one dock over could have the same model of Universal engine with different water pumps. The following diagrams should help you determine which pump is on your engine. That way you can order the correct parts for your needs.

Uses impeller kit 302875K, including o-ring 302877 and gasket 302879

Universal 301357 - Oberdorfer Water Pump
Uses impeller 295628 and gasket 295626 or Impeller Kit 200209

Universal 300986 - Sherwood Water Pump
Uses impeller kit 287439, including gasket 295745
